Ive recently had several things go my way and lots of great things are happenning. I feel like most of my friends are secretly jealous and some of them even want me to fail. Why can't people be happy for others.

some people = crabs... always want to pull you down. It's their comfort level and security blanket... that's all. It happens to me often!

True friends will always be happy to see you succeed, but unfortunately there are a lot of people who love to see others fail, whether it be in a business venture, a relationship, just anything. I think it all boils down to they are just simply jealous of you. So don't worry about it, cause' your true friends are going to be happy and supportive of you always and they will be with you when things aren't going well for you also. Don't worry about the others!!

Yes, I have a friend that laughs when something bad happens to others, she laughs when a girlfriend gains weight, or anything like that makes her really happy so I know she must feel that way about me too. I really can't stand people that are so jealous like that.

If you really are feeling that bad for him, help him raise 200 dollars by the summer :) Collect cans, shovel snow, rake leaves.. etc. Any odd jobs. I guarantee you guys will have at least 200 dollars by summer. EDIT: Where I am, summer school is free...? EDIT EDIT: Okay, now it just sounds like your trying to make excuses, 200, 500? Big dif, if you feel so bad, and he is your true friend, get out there and start making the money.. :)

You need new friends. Or maybe just true friends. Cuz if they really were your friends, they would be happy for you, even if they were jealous too. If it helps, I'm happy for you!

The ones who do that aren't true friends.

My friends always want me to fail. Why? Because I'm perfect and they're jealous. I'm beautiful, they're not. I'm intelligent, they're not. I'm witty, they're not. I'm a kickass fighter, they're... well, they're the damsels in distress, except nobody likes them enough to save them!
