I'm the man who thinks that Lebron James will take over the series vs the spurs

There will be definitely some adjustments that James needs to take in order to win some games. As far as I see him in game 1, he did not aggressively attack the rim. Two out of his 4 made-shots were layups, with the other two made-shots came from beyond the arc. Furthermore, he was only 4-4 from the free throw line. I have to say that the Spurs did a fantastic job on preventing James going to the hoop for easy layup. There was one time in game 1 where I see he had to go pass Bowen and then four other guys crowded the rim, so he had to go pass them for a layup. That layup was probably the most difficult field goal that he made during game 1. But it is always good to attack the rim because he can at least draw the foul and shoot some free throws rather than taking jump shots against one of the best perimeter defender in the league.
As far as James taking over the series, I dont think it is going to happen. For his team win the championship, he has to get his teammates involved. I dont deny the fact that James can take over any game, but I dont think that he has the energy and the consistency to do it for four straight hard-fought and intense Final games. He doesnt have to score 30+ points, but he needs to get into his usual playoff performance (20+points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists) in order for his team to win. After all, the whole team starts and ends with Lebron James.

Lebron will adjust and play better, but the Cavs still won't and can't top the Spurs. They can hope for at best 1 win from the series. Nothing more than that.

ultimatejock your an idiot.

maybe they should play detroit again then that might validate your comment and have some merit.

Spurs are not the Pistons get over it. Maybe you wish they were, but the spurs are solid unlike the pistons who just imploded with rasheed losing it. Im tired of everyone saying "well look at what happened to detroit". Sorry, but this series is going to be short. Detroit didn't dominate Cleveland the way San Antonio did, not once in any of their games did they push the cavs around like that, get used to it cavs fans, this isn't the eastern conference.

If all your team has to rely on is Lebron then Spurs will shut him out over and over again, Lebron is not a 5 man team who can do it all maybe you should be asking this about your other players.

Lebron James maybe king for one game and if lucky he will have 2 games but he wont be a king for 4 games...

Go Spurs...

He'll adjust but he won't take over. There's a big difference.
