It's normal for Women to take things to Heart.

The Lord blessed us with Good Emotions. Although, our Emotions can betray us. But, when we sense pity, compassion, love, Humility, or even better - The Fruits of the Spirit, we begin to sense a deep longing for God to Comfort us no matter what we feel.

I, myself, a man who also take things by Heart.

Keep yourself busy and fully utize your potential. If you don't have that much idle time on hand, and put all your time striving towards something that down the end of the road can better yourself, you will have a more fulfilled heart and be more self-assured.

I don't... but I have learned to sort things in the order of frivolous to serious, material to immaterial. In other words, I never stop "taking things to heart" but such taking is by degrees of importance. For instance... if someone did not like my accent ... tough... I take note of it but it belongs to the genrie of the unimportant. Thus, in the scheme of my life, it's worth is perhaps 1 second ... no more. Life is too valuable to spend it treating eveything in life equally... you must come up with your own value system so when you "take things to heart" you take them in degrees.

Maybe u shouldn't offer your whole heart 2 others. Try keeping a part of it just 4 yourself..that way others can't hurt it cz u have your guard up! Works 4 me! :)

You probably can't .Changing how you FEEL is very difficult You can, however, tell yourself whatever it takes (" It doesn't matter ! He/she is (insert here)" ) to be functional & DO what you have to . Considering others opinions is a good thing .Only a d*** fool never does that , & if you could actually change , would you still be he same person , or as good a person ?

Before you stop, will you take my heart?

let go of your attachment and take negative things lightly... if you can allow enough room in your heart to buffer confrontation and forgive others, then you will live a happier life. but if you squeeze all these factors into your heart and grip them tightly till you dont want to let them go.... then you are destroyinh yourself; mentally and physically (you will look troubled and look psychologically ugly, right?)

You can spend some time here:

you'll gain so much and and live gracefully, trust me!
