When we talk about the heart -- as you have, as have others here, and as I myself do -- we are really not talking about the organ that pumps blood through our bodies. When we refer to the heart in that way we are actually talking about the mind -- both the conscious and subconscious minds.
Our minds are but subsets (i.e. parts of) our souls; and our souls are entities that experience many lifetimes. The soul keeps putting parts of itself into physical existence until there are no more lessons to be learned; that is, until we BECOME PURE LOVE.
Therefore, to answer your question, I say that the mind is the window to the soul.

The window to the "Soul" is Vivek, Man & budhi (sense, nind & wit) provided these are co-related at the time of taking discision, in case these are functioning independently or only mind & wit togather the discision may be negative and may not be posible look at the Sopul.

i think your heart is your soul.it is what tells you to stick by ur emotions n relations.i guess ur heart,soul n conscience are all one thing.so ur eyes are the windows to ur heart,soul n conscience,they are the only windows to the real YOU.
