RoVale is right. This band had NOTHING to do with the band U2, so I don't know where THAT came from!

Besides "White Bird", they had another song that was kinda big that I also liked, "Hot Summer Day". From what I read somewhere, the album cover with the old-timey girl with the sky behind her is a rare collector's album and worth some buck$! They probably did more than that one LP, but I can't remember it now if they did.

I actually saw them in concert once as a teenager in the early '70s, but I can't really remember much of THAT, either!

I remember them but mostly for their one big hit "White Bird". They split up in 1974 but by that time, violinist David LaFlamme had already started a solo career. He was forced out of the band the year before as a result of an ongoing dispute over royalties. He formed a new band called White Bird and then continued his legal fight with a former manager for years afterward. The rest of the band brought in a new violinist, released two more albums and then disbanded.
