Pea and carrots do go well together, but the best combo with peas is whipped or mashed potatoes.

I hope not. I like carrots, and I suppose peas are okay except for the way they smell, their flavor and the way they feel in your mouth. I'm glad they worked for Forest Gump.

It would truly depend on how you mean do they go together. I have found that people usually like them together, but then you have those that don't like them together because they either don't like one or the other, or in my case, don't like either one. Personally, I don't think they go together, but I know many people that do like them cooked together.
Now if you are speaking metaphorically, then again, it would depend on the comparison that you are intending to make as to the fact if they go together or not. So in conclusion, it depends on the person, and the circumstances if carrots and peas truly go together or not.

I think so. You can get them together at the market in cans or frozen packages. Maybe it is because they are both sweet.
