I could have made a list of hobbies easily, but you said to pick a favorite. That makes this question so much tougher to answer! Only ONE?? Okay, you're forcing me to give a weird answer then... ;-)
I'll say daydreaming is my favorite hobby. My daydreams can get just as long and involved as any other activity... and well, it's a good hobby if you don't otherwise have lots of money to throw away at doing lots of fun things everyday...
Besides, where else, other than the imagination, can you talk to fictional characters, historical figures, or whatever else the imagination can conjure up? ;-)

I don't know if you would consider it a hobby... but I love breaking the silence @ any moment & say the most random thing that comes to mind. I compete w/ myself too. & the people I hang-out w/ most know this & this helps the conversation flow.
ex:
"That hat she wore to the wedding was so fech!" "Not since my tow turnd that nasty shade of violet" "You leaped over the bucket, so I HAD to swich to Tuesday."
