Would you do something about it now, or turn a blind eye?

And...how many people leaving bars are over the limit to drive? What percentage?

I tried and tried to wrestle the keys away from some ex Marine one night. i'm 5'6 and weigh 110 lbs. I saw him leave and tried to go after him. WE got into a fight. I didn't stand a chance. He took off and hit a tree. He was o.k. but the tree didn't make it. Always felt sorry for the tree. The next day he apologized for hurting me, but it was pretty sad.

You don't get to take away points based on my answer now do ya???

Yes I have seen an intoxicated person get in their car and I have been an intoxicated person, getting in their car......stupid is as stupid does. Thank the good Lord above that nothing has happened *knocks wood three times*

I most definitely would try to do something about it......first and foremost would be to offer the person a ride home (since I LOOOVE to drive so much) and even offer to bring them back the next day to get their vehicle when they were sober and could safely drive home.

I think at certain points in our lives, we all make really dumba&& decisions....and fate or whatever, chooses to step in and change peoples lives forever.....there is a lesson in EVERYthing, I truly believe this.....there was a reason I got stopped two weekends ago, for speeding and not wearing my seatbelt....where did it hurt me most? In my wallet.....theres my lesson....don't be stupid and you won't waste money paying speeding tickets....that one was an easy one to figure out LOL

Something else I believe 100%.....everyone is a work in progess, meaning still learning.....we *practice* living.....and no one is perfect at it.....mistakes are made, lessons are taught, hopefully learned....and then you go on to the next one......

Thats my theory :)

We'll just have to watch and see what lesson, IF ANY, PH was taught and if she chooses to learn from it.....

LY! Bunches!

I have never seen an intoxicated person get in a car and not called the police to have them followed and arrested.

DUI = combined attempted suicide and murder.

If someone wants to kill themselves that's fine by me... but don't take some other person you never met out at the same time.

i used to see it all the time but it never bothered me cause they were always passengers or in the back seat. some people like functioning alcholics drive drunk every day and no one really knows the difference, im not saying its ok, im just saying sometimes its really hard to tell.
