I am currently going through a divorce, but I don't feel bitter or hurt. I feel more in touch with myself lately. There are things I'm focusing on now that I couldn't seem to get around to when I was with my ex. Get to know yourself and start enjoying the company of others. You learn a lot about yourself when you're single and you'll begin to realize a lot about the marriage you thought you couldn't do without. Its important for you to know that if you loved once, then you'll love again. Life's too short to hold on to such negative feelings. Once you release yourself from these emotions, you'll begin to feel free and open and self-assured again.

I am not sure what all happened to result in divorce but you deserve happiness. You need to let go of the past and prepare for a great future. Learn from your past and look forward to meeting new people and having fun.
Don't hold onto the anger, hurt and bitterness cause while your at home dealing with that your X is probably out having a ball.
Maybe counseling will help you to deal with the divorce as well.

Best of Luck

Consider focusing on the here and now and the future.
Consider expanding your horizons, learn a new trade, a new skill, or a new sport/hobby. If you are busy taking care of the present and future you will not have time for the past.
If you still are having problems six months after the divorce, consider seeking out a therapist. Everyone in their life at some time will need the help of a mental therapist(no necessary a long period to time--sometimes a few sessions can help one get on track)
