No, not by far. There is a company called American Water Distillers that make distillers which you can hook up to your faucet. It turns your tap water into distilled water. It basically boils the water, turns it into steam, and the steam condenses into a chamber. The water in the chamber becomes your drinking water. What's left behind in the pot is pretty amazing. Thick, white, stalagmites of lime & calcium.
