I would suggest the Grand Canal Shoppes over the Forum Shops. They both have pretty much the same selection in stores and shopping but I love the atmosphere of the Venetian. It has a painted ceiling that appears to be a sky and it feels like daytime in there even if it's night. It also has the canal where the gondala boats come through and there are singers that sing in Italian and row the boats down the canal. Very romantic and fun atmosphere! Have fun...I'm going this weekend and we're staying at the Mandalay Bay!

I would say the Forum Shops and solely due to the size difference. While the Grand Canal Shoppes isnt a small place, the Forum Shops is huge considering it is attached to a casino.
You may also want to consider the Fashion Show Mall, right across from the Venetian. It is by far the biggest mall in Vegas with just about every anchor store you could imagine.

Fashion Show Mall is best shopping in the Vegas! I really love to shop Dillards the best in the world! Forum Shops are very popular than Grand Canal Shoppes.

Forum Shops is definitely bigger, but I personally like the ambience of the Grand Canal Shoppes better. Here are the official hotel links to their mall webpages so you can see which shops and restaurants are at each one:

Forum Shops is so much better than the Grand Canal Shops. They have a bigger selection of brand name stores and the romanesque architecture/replica statues are just astounding. plus, you might be able to bump into some celebs shopping there if you're lucky.
