She is a rich spoiled bit ch who needs to grow up. She drove intoxicated TWICE after losing her license for it the first time. In Florida she would have gotten six months the second time. After the 3rd time she would lose her license for 5 years. She needs to learn there are consequences for her behavior, something her parents should have taught her but didn't. Her parents probably paid the Sheriff, but once again there are consequences for actions. She will stop crying when she realized it won't help.

Is she mentally unstable or just spoiled? If the latter, this is good for her. It is REAL LIFE.

If she is mentally unstable, she need help that she may not be getting.

In any case, the fact that her lawyer is standing aside instead of working with her at her side suggests that the Hiltons are dictating the law unsuccessfully and he has nothing to say...or he is a boob.

When she gets out of Jail, she is still a Billionaire. Other People who get out of Jail go back to the real world. I don't feel sorry for priveledged people being sent to jail for crimes they committed. Puts them back in check that no one is above the law. Did you feel sorry Rodney King if you know who he is? I don't have any sympathy for her since I have been in several accidents where I was hit by drunk drivers. Rearended twice by drunk drivers. One head on collision caused by drunk driver losing control and hitting me head on. Thanks to seat belts I am still here. The one which hit me head on was doing in excess of 100 MPH (160 KPH) when he lost control and hit me head on.
Maybe this will make she see that it is no game and stop driving while under the influence before the cripples or kills someone.

I have been a fan of hers and always will be. Paris did not do any harm and she is getting way more then she deserves 40 days are they serious?
No normal person would ever get that much even Nancy Grace,Bill O'Rilly said this is more then average perosn would get,she has no record till now and most of the people that are in that prison 90% of them are killers, rapiest, the sherriff said that Jail is too full and a normal person with no record would only serve at most 10% of what they got if they were in her situation,they are trying to make a point out of her and it is unfair why not Michell Rodirguez when she did the same thing,it is unfair Paris didnt deserve this!
