Oklahoma does not require a front plate - so there is no base for it.

There are 2 lil marks in the plastic underneath the grille where I MIGHT put it - but they're way wider than an actual plate - my Earnhardt Junior plate will not fit. I don't want to drill into the plastic under the grill.

This actually works. I just bought a bmw and wanted a european license plate for the front. Some guy on here said to use 3m double tape. You can buy it anywhere almost. I was skeptical but it works. The tag looks great and no holes in the front of my new car!

Its called Scotch 3M Automotive Mounting Tape.

You said '07 truck. Sounds new. If you bought it new from a dealer, go back there and they'll put the plate for you for free. Actually the plate holder should be included with a brand new truck.
If it's not a new truck, they'll sell the plate holder to you and charge you very little to install (or you can do it yourself.)

This Okie had a good laugh when Texas grandparents paid to have a new tag bracket put on the front of the car they brought to Oklahoma then wondered why the tag agent gave them only one tag!

If you can get your hands on a Dremel or a cordless drill, just put the plate where you want it & drill the holes, after finding some appropriately sized screws, of course! If not, go to the nearest Volvo dealer & they'll hook you up. :)
