Tuscany, Italy. No doubt in my mind, that is where I would want to be.

Hopefully, I could overcome that little language barrier problem!

I'd spend 24 months in Germany - Munich, if I need to be more specific, preferably doing my current job (I help small businesses get started). Why? First, I want total immersion to advance my embarassing high school German into fluent German. Next, I want to gain that cultural perspective that can only come from living in an non-English-speaking country. Third, I love all things German - the food, the literature, the cars, and oh, sweet God, the beer. I think 2 years would be just about enough time for me to really feel connected with the locals. Lastly, Munich is a day trip by train from nearly everywhere in Europe. Plus they host Oktoberfest. 'Nuff said.

I'd like to spend time in The Appalachians that is if there are still places there that are like how they make them out to be in movies, I like to work with an old mountain woman and learn their ways with old folk remedies and work/grow with medicinal plants, and also learn about their music and dance.
Either there or somewhere in the Amazon or the jungles of south Asia for very similar reasons, the learn about the animals and plants, medicine, traditions, etc. Plus I'd love an old traditional tattoo.
Maybe some day, before I'm too old.hahaha!!

Well, since I have become a writer, I can do it any where, huh?
I want to go to Ireland, my family's homeland, where they were ran off by the English in the 1600's, and sent to America as criminals, all because they fought the English crown!!!!
Same for the part of my family from Scotland, which is the next place I would go!!!
