When I was in HS. Life was good, had lot's of friends, no worries. Worked as alifeguard at Wet-n-Wild in Orlando, Fl, and the best thing actually was, I taught swimming lessons at the local Boy's(&Girls) Club. Nothing better then when a small child learns to swim, it makes them so happy. As a matter of fact, one 6 year old that was terrified of the water, got to be so trusting in me, he wanted me to ask his older sister out on a date!!!

My Grandma was a free spirit...way ahead of her time....she lived with us while I was growing up and I had more great moments with her...she was the type of lady who would watch Saturday afternoon Boxing matches on TV and then tune in to Lawrence Welk later that same night...She's been "gone" to Heaven for 27 yrs now and I still miss her

When I was in high school actually. I was working as a counselor at a camp in Northern Wisconsin.
I learned confidence, patience, a love of nature, and a sense of peace that I had never known before.
I have carried that love of nature with me ever since. It has been a soothing respite for me my entire adult life.
