I know its still far away, but im interested in going to the super bowl and this year I could not find any tickets, I mean I didn't know where to buy them. I'm willing to spend money on them, but did anyone find tickets this year, besides ebay, if so then where were they purchased ?

I work at ticketmaster and we don't handle the superbowl events.

Every team in the league gets a few tickets; I believe there is some sort of lottery. If you know a season-ticket holder in a city, that's a start. The participating teams get a chunk of tickets; I have friends in my city who have won those lotteries. Same with the host city, if there's a team there. (Don't know where next year's game is.)

Failing that, sometimes travel agencies will offer packages. And, there's always eBay. But those seats usually aren't exactly at face value.

Every year, the Super Bowl becomes more and more (and more) corporate. Your best chances to get a ticket or two would be to:
1. Be a journalist. A good way would be to submit to a small newspaper/public tv show and become a field reporter and eventually cover topics that would improve your chances of "covering" the Super Bowl.
2. Move up the corporate ladder. The majority of "fans" are people who represent companies that have stock in the teams, the NFL, and beer companies, othe sponsers, etc.
3.Be extremely wealthy, because the demand is much much higher than the supply. Ebay is good.
I know that probably won't help too much, but thats the reason you probably dont have a lot of friends that have been to a Super Bowl( at least recently). Unfortunately, the NFL Super Bowl becomes less fan friendly and more flash. Also the reason you cannot get tickets yet is because on the tickets themselves there is a hologram with the teams' names. I believe.

Just search super bowl 2008 and you will find many sites which you may buy ticketes. I did, but not enough money--be prepared to pay. Starts at approx 700 to 5000 per ticket.
