If they are on VHS tapes you have to covert them to cds or dvds there are services that do this, but they are by no means cheap they start at about $7 per tape at the lowest.
Another way do it is get the equipment and hook it between your VHS player for info on this go to

But a different solution would be go to your local library and talk to the people in the computer section if your in or near any large city this would be the easiest, and who knows you might make some new friends

If the videos are VCR tape, then you'll need a converter device that plugs your VCR into your computer. It converts the analog signal to digital. Then you'd want to organize them and store them on discs.
