Whenever I go into Dunkin' Donuts and get an iced coffee (usually a medium or large), I'll finish it, then notice that the freakin cup is filled 3/4 with ice. There's hardly any coffee, it's all ice! Do you ever notice this or does it happen to you? grrr

It happens everywhere.. whether you're buying a cup of coke, iced coffee, or what else. We're actually paying for 1/4 of the drink and a whole bunch of ice. What you can do is ask for less ice before they pour the drink in. I do that. Sometimes I'll just say "not too much ice, please".

I have noticed, It has happened to me, and I hate it too. Not only in DD and the iced coffee, it happens also everywhere you buy soft drinks... They fill the cup with ice and then pour a bit of the drink. That's how they earn money.

Well I live in a ridiculously small and deprived area, so we dont have a Dunkin' Donuts. But I have noticed it elsewhere, so I ask for a little ice. Otherwise it is a total ripoff!

Order coffee and a glass of ice. Just pour your coffee into the ice. They will refill the ice free and you get much more coffee.

Do like I do and tell them no ice, it hurts my teeth. The drink isn't usually that warm so you don't need the ice. Or you can say, like a previous answer says "Light ice" but that leaves it to them to decide how light. Watch them.

Ice .0002 cents
Coffee .005 cents
Cup .003 cents
watching people spend up to five bucks for a cup of brown ice. Priceless

I'd have to agree--they are so good, but I don't think that they give you enough for a large. Same with Starbucks. I bought the equivalent to large size cappucino and there was hardly any coffee in there~! Insane~!

Next time order with only a little ice. They'll comply. Cheap skates. I used to be a bartender and if they ask for just a little ice, we are happy to do so.
