Oh my gosh - yes! Mine hated me and would cause all kinds of trouble. She didn't even come to our wedding! I think it would have happened to anyone my husband married because she was jealous of the relationship but it got so bad we didn't talk to her for a year. It was sad because it was so hard on my husband. I hope to never be like that when I have kids. Good question! Hope you are not going through something bad too!

I am going to toot my own horn .........but, I am a wonderful mother-in-law. I keep my nose out of their business unless asked for an opinion. I never tell my daughters' how to raise their daughters either......but, I am always here when needed, if I can help. I let my son-in-law know how much I cared about him many times.......now that my daughter divorced him.......? I do miss him in many ways. But, I love my daughter first and foremost......
