I used to put poems on mine but when I started work, my boss told me not to as she thought it was weird (she didn't know me then) and then I got rid of the machine and use 1571 and I don't know if you can record your own message but this is one of them
Hi there caller, I'm feeling rough
So if you want to talk then, frankly, tough.
I'm on the settee - or in bed
But the way I'm feeling; I'm probably dead.

Hi, we can't come to the phone right now, we are either polishing the guns, or feeding the pitbulls, but you can leave a message after the tone.....If this is Joe target practise is cancelled tonight hope you get this message in time.

When I used to use one, I just left it at factory setting (in English and I live in a non-English speaking country) and I have never changed my cell phone's either (just leave the standard one provided by the service). I figure that people will know what to do once they hear that robotic voice anyway, and if they can't, I really don't care what they have to say.

At least yours is honest, no "leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can" bulls***. I don't have an answerphone, I hate them!

you have reached me if it is important leave a message otherwise your phone number is automatically deleted and you can't call back and if you do not leave a message you call was not that important

"sorry i cant get to the phone right now, leave your name and # and ill call you back" but it used to say "hello?.....hello?....oh yah i cant get to the phone leave a message..." but it kept pi**ng people off.....they thought it was really me each time....
