When someone likes your question they give it a star. And no, you are not a loser, read some of the questions that have gotten stars and you'll see what I mean.

You star a question becuase you want to share it with people in your contacts and your fans....when you star something they see the question on their page so they can answer it too.

i used to think they were worth points, but later, to my dismal suprise, found out they're not... they're just something to brag about, and have nothing to do with points, unfortuently
