Roger Miller was such a crazy old boy. I love him. Dang me! if only there were more around like that now... well there is unknown hinson these days. now he's one strange bird. but people like roger miller make the world so much more colorful and are a hell of a good time to boot. his music makes me happy as a lark. actually i don't know what a lark is, but roger miller sure brings a smile to my face. have you ever heard his version of river in the rain? now that's something. EDIT: i mean river in the rain, not rainy night in... ha ha. drrrunk again. looks like kitty is drivin' tonight! and a cab home...

Roger Miller, a million tales about him, and every single one is true, lol. I sing a few of his songs for karaoke night at the local tavern, and the most requested ones are king of the road and tennessee stud. This guy ranks in my top ten artists of all time.

I love Roger Miller. I have his stuff on my MP3 player and make my kids listen.
One of my very favorite Disney movies is Robin Hood, because he played the part of the minstel.

Like most other folks i immediately think of King Of the Road, Dang Me and engine, engine number nine which instantly makes me think of Tenesee Ernie Ford and Sixteen tons because as kids we wore those out on that portable pop up phonograph we had...lol
