If you are determined you will eventually find the information, or, lack thereof, if you continue to feverishly search for something that does not exist.

Well, it depends on the city you are in. Every urban area has a trade publication with a "hotline" of auditions. But your local newspaper may have auditions listed as well.
The other thing to do is open your Yellow Pages, and contact the theatre companies to see when their next auditions are.
Break a leg!

The good old fashion way,, go to the library,, look in magazines and news papers. Net work with others, postings at playhouses,, coffee cafes,, there is a lot more to offer than just the Internet besides it's fun getting out there and talking to people,, you may even get pointers for your next audition!

First of all, if it's legit, you NEVER pay money up front!!! I'm an actress, and I scour the newspapers, and everything else. Sometimes a local talent agency can be for real, but if they are, they would never ever ask you for money, until you made some through them. It is actually very hard to find a good source. Good luck. I found mine, and I sure hope you find yours!

Where are you located? If you are in NYC I would try Playbill.com
they seriously have links to many casting calls and other job opportunities such as ushers and box office help.
Also, the classifieds or arts section of your cities news paper should list them every so often.
best of luck!!

In our city, many theaters just use a press release in the newspaper for upcoming auditions.

The local papers are a good suggestion, but if you can't find them, call the local theaters. Ask where they post their auditions.

Backstage. It's a legit Newspaper/Magazine that has weekly casting notices that are real. They carry equity, non equity theatre auds, SAG/non SAG films, and student films of the area.
