this morning, I turned my computer on, and it told me I had to recover my system. I have never had a virus or a problem with this before. I have everything u[ and running again, but I've lost some of my programs, like Micorsoft word. Why would this have happened, and do I need to be concerned about it?

Just for a precautions my dear...just recover your system and follow what it says...If you want your Microsoft Word back...try restore your system on the date where your Microsoft Word lost...i hope your programs are running...

System restore:-
start>all program>accessories>system tools>system restore.

don't worry it was safe and it is better than you format back your computer..

If Windows senses corruption or damages, it will try to roll back to a recovery point to ensure the system can start up correctly, you should be concerned if this happens often.
