I did a little dance. IMO people are forgetting that she was picked up for a PROBATION VIOLATION. That is way more serious than the other charges that got her on probation.

It is sad that she is having a hard time, but not so sad that I think she needs to have a modified sentence.

Perhaps she is being set up as an example. To be honest, that doesn't bother me. She put herself in the public eye - she is happy when the press is favorable - so I think this is part of the gig.

I think that someone who gets a DUI, breaks her parole TWICE, and is arrogant about when she appears in court is asking for trouble. I understand how the chain of events regarding her dismissal and return to jail occurred, and it's unfortunate. Any medical conditions she has should have been planned for before she entered the facility. It's not as if she didn't have access to adequate health care.

If you want to live in the U.S. and enjoy the privileges of being an American, you gotta play by the rules. Maybe Ms. Hilton would be happier living in another country when she gets out of the pokey.

Obviously the plan was that she would pretend to go in and serve time in the real jail and then get smuggled out at 2 in the morning after a couple days. The fix was in with the sheriff way before it happened.

The judge was having non of it and dragged her back in, thus her surprise and protest in court.

A friend of mine got nearly a year and then parole for two DWI's and he was totally cooperative and respectful....just not rich.

PS. To Sunflair.... A star everyone loves? She is a twit, a no talent and a total idiot, a skank who doesnt even know how to give a decent BJ. Speak for yourself.

Thrilled! We all cheered! She should just take her sentence and serve her time and just shut up and quit whining. Someone needs to teach her a lesson that is "she is no better then anyone else when it comes to the law and following the rules of life". Break the law and pay for it! She should not be heard from again in the news until she is let out of her cell.

I don't usually pay much attention to "celebs'. Energy, education, immigration issues deserve our attention much more, but what a mess she has gotten herself into! Seems as though she thought her 'antics" were cute, she was just having "fun". How much "fun" are you having now, honey?! She needs to grow up and her parents coddling her is not helping. Goes to show, the more money you have the more trouble you can get into. Glad to be poor! JMO! :-)

im really annoyed she has been sent back! that judge only sent her back to save his own hide! coward.
Poor paris, normal people would have been out within the same time frame, she is just being used to increase the profile of the extemelly useless and hypocritical justice system!
The trauma they are causing the poor girl, they should be ashamed of themselves!
I am so pissed off about it all, poor paris.

I can't imagine what good it does anyone to put this girl in jail.

She's rich, she' s vacant and she's annoying, but honestly whom does this serve?

Many seem to want to see her suffer because she's spoiled, but I don't really see that as being very justified.

I say leave her under house arrest or whatever.

I think the Bush admin must love these stupid pointless stories as they take the American mind off of more substantial issues.

That's why Vidal calls us the "United States of Amnesia".

So silly in the big picture don't cha think?

She's as bad as her mother...How dare her mother act the way she's acted. At least her daughter is ONLY in jail, not in a grave as many of the other young ladies currently in the news....My God, Be grateful!! It's really pathetic...You screw up, deal with it...every other person has to...life ISNT fair!

she deserves no special treatment.

altho you have to admit, getting that LITTLE taste of freedom, thinking "ha!! money does talk!" and then, wham, sorry, back to jail you go. that's GOTTA hurt!!! probably harder than when she went in the first time.

she should do her time, and get over it, happens everyday but nobody cares becuase it's people that aren't well known, and aren't rich.
