Let me guess - you're a teenager, right?

The drama is because 1) teenagers are going through puberty, and 2) they haven't learned how to control their emotions and reactions well yet.

Puberty is a big change, and it takes time to adjust to these changes. I don't mean a few months of time - I mean years, like 5-10. Their bodies are suddenly flooded with hormones at levels they haven't experienced before. They are also starting to hit the time in their life where they want some independence, but can't be fully independent. This causes more stress and frustration, which they don't know how to handle. They end up lashing out at whoever makes them mad, and this is usually more than the situation calls for. So the other person overreacts back, and you get a vicious circle.

Fortunately, most of them outgrow this by the time they're about 25, and they develop into decent people that you can enjoy being around. But some stay assholes all their life, and there's not much you can do about it.

Growing up is so hard because you don't get to practice it beforehand, you only get one chance to do it right, and the people who have been through it don't seem to understand it either. One day, though, you will wake up and say, "I am a man." About five or six years later you will have actually dinished maturing.

Girls can seem abnormally catty and nasty, but this is because guys tend to be less Machiavellian and Byzantine. (No, I am not a misogynist.) Also, there are many nice girls out there, who are a great deal more fun to interact with.

School is frustrating because you allow it to be so. School is easy because the tasks are set for you, and you are taught how to accomplish them beforehand. The same cannot be said for growing up.

You probably feel sad because you are having a hard time with puberty, rough luck with the fairer sex, and trouble in school. You need to deal with this sadness, though, before it becomes consuming. Find something to be happy about.

Growing up is difficult. We all have to face it. Whether kids make fun of us at school because our clothes aren't as expensive or we have a big nose or a big butt or there is always something. Know that when you grow up most of those things don't happen anymore. What you need to do is concentrate on school. Get good grades and get a good education. The best way to "pay them back" 10 years from now is to get a really good career. Some of them may be working at McDonalds. You feel sad because you want to be popular but you can't control them. Ignore them and put your effort into studying. Read some books this summer, ride your bike, get a new hairstyle, be a NEW you when you start school in the fall. Surprise them all.

There is a sense of pride and pioneering in learning about life the hard way. You know more than you did last year, and you will know more next year than you do now. Once you're fairly grown up, social situations will be old hat. But even then you will still be learning.

Girls are mean because they are afraid. Also, mean works. Temporarily.

School is no more frustrating than work.

You just do feel sad. Temporarily. It'll pass.

Im so sorry that you are feeling this way. Growing up doesnt have to be so hard!
Girls are mean becuase when they break someone else down, it makes them feel like the better person. Just remember that when they are mean to you , you are the better person!
Everyone will say "dont worry its normal." , but it still sucks! When i was your age i joined a dance group . It really helped me in building my self esteem and took my mind off of the "normal" yet frustrating parts of growing up. Find something that you love and go with it!

Best of luck and huge hugs ...

Growing up is part of life. We learn as we grow older.

You can't control other people, and can't expect to please everyone. Be yourself, be honest, smart, and compassionate.

If you need help in your studies, there are plenty of tutors available. Hopefully your parents can help or direct you to one.

It's okay to be sad, but not most of the time. Do you belong to any school clubs, sports? Do you attend a church? If you do, then surround yourself with positive people.

Sometimes it takes longer for some people to mature, and being mean, is something boys and girls do, when they don't know the right ways to channel their feelings.

Good luck and wipe those tears. You are strong, you are loved and you can make a positive influence in others.

I know it seems like right now it is such a big deal, but it is part of growing up. One day you will be a grown up, with your true friends, and other relationships and the people that were mean to you won't mean a thing. Do you have any friends? One good friend is better than 10 fake ones. Another piece of advise: don't let them know they bother you. Have fun, enjoy school, talk to the people that are nice to you. Most of the times, kids are mean for attention don't give it to them! Keep your head up!

*~Girls start drama because they are haters and feel the need to make everyone feel bad like them and want to start stuff so don't trip over them. School is fustarting because teachers are getting stricture and giving more homework. As you grow up you realize everything isn't all sugar-n-sweet so you lose that innocence that you had when you were a child and things that might not have pissed you off when you were younger do now. Good luck with everything!~*
