Several times, but I have only been in love once, and it hurt so much when he decided not to be with me. I felt I was going to die.
How did I recover?
Time has made things better, as well as talking to my friends and writing about it.
You can and do move on from these things.

More times than I have been happy in-love....some say rest, self reflection, and time to heal. I say go on a date. So you'll wine about your ex with the first couple of dates but then you'll get tired of thinking about the person and you'll move on. Being alone in your thoughts is the worse way to recover.

I've been disappointed a few times. Hurt 2 times. One after many years I'm over it. The other one I'm still in the relationship. But since I stop caring for him it doesn't hurt.

Yeh, and MORE times than I count!
Recovery? Time heals.
Also, getting out more, take the problem as a learning exp., stay positive, and keep busy with hobbies and making new friends.

All three times I fell for somebody. So I just wait it out until another woman comes I'll like in that way and just hope for the best. They all can't be winners, but one will be.
