i think a straberry right above your hips in the hollow of your back will be a clear message. and you could conceal that whenever you will want to.another could be a rose in between your breasts. that too could be concealed.

why would you get a tattoo to show youre gay? i understand gay pride. im full of it. and i have a tattoo but it seems silly to get something like that.
you know you are gay, so do your family and friends (i presume)
if your going to get a tattoo get something origional and that means something to you. a symbol to show your lesbian isnt that. and you'll end up regretting it.
if you are dead bent on getting a lesbian tattoo thats not too big then how about something that isnt as cliched as a "rainbow" or the female symbol
how about a "lily" you know, the white flower.
it still will have a gay meaning.
"yuri" is a word to descride lesbian content in anime/manga and is also used as common slang to describe a lesbian in japan.
yuri means "lily"

other than that you can go for common symbols like a downward turned triangle (its small and would look good on a wrist)

Mine is a downward pointing triangle, but it's a celtic knot. It not only represents my sexuality but my heritage (I'm part Welsh) and that particular celtic symbol is protective. I did a lot of research online looking at gay symbols. The other thing I've seen well done is to incorporate the triangle into another design such as a classic trible band. I like the celtic and trible designs because they are more abstract and not representational. So I don't worry about it becoming passe. I added a couple links with some examples.

little interlocking female symbols is a classic,
or maybe a heart that fades throught the rainbow... i have one of the butt of a skirt i wear,a nd ppl always ask me if i'm a lesbian when I wear it, but it is super cute.
Uhm... hmm... ask the guys at the tatoo places for ideas. theya re good at that sort of thing. make sure you visit a few places before picking one!
but the tatoo where it can be hidden easily, for formal events.

I think it's a great idea However make sure you think it through it's permanent remember! I found with each of mine the designs jump out at me and I knew instantly that it's the one that I want but I still go away and think about for awhile first just to be sure. Hope this helps. xx

I think that would be cool... just don't make it huge and ugly. Get something like rainbow cherries or something with lesbian pride inside the cherries but written REALLY small... that would be hot... like on your lower tummy right above where your pants ride. That would be really cute.

Get a big unicorn on your neck jumping over a rainbow and smoking a cigar. Make sure that some clouds, stars, and lips are all surrounding the horse. You might want to make the unicorns hair long and wavy with a midget on his back riding him. If you added some butterflies it would be super gay.

Well, personally you don't want it to big. But placement on the body is an issue. You want to be able to hide it when you want to, as well as show it off when you want to. Other than that tattoos are a personal choice.

You should get a small rainbow on your wrist, ankle, lower back, or chest with pretty designs around it. That would be cute, but get the point that you want across.
