1. I'm a student intern for the Department of Human Services. I don't get paid but I get college credit doing about 35 hours per week.
2. I love my job! My clients are wonderful and its always great to see the difference I can make in the lives of others as an interning social worker.
3. I don't really care for my boss. She is rather unprofessional and her style lacks empathy for others. Also, she is extremely negative and only talks about the things clients do wrong.
4. I work 35 hours a week, give or take 2 hours.
5. I don't get paid. I get 12 college credits for my work.
6. I've had this internship, my former job which lasted 18 months, and a volunteer position in a children's arts center
7. No, I've never been the boss.
8. My co-workers are amazing. They are resourceful and understanding.
9. Technically, I'm supposed to get a half hour lunch break but I usually just eat something quick on the road on the way to clients' houses.
10. I work 5 days a week; I get weekends off.
