Are there no limits to the USA in its prosecution and action against suspects? How many mistakes have been made as the USA pursues and tortures targets?

Prober: CIA ran secret jails in Europe
By ELAINE GANLEY, Associated Press Writer
30 minutes ago

PARIS - The CIA ran secret jails in Poland and Romania to interrogate key terror suspects, shackling and handcuffing inmates, keeping some naked for weeks and reducing contact with the outer world to masked and silent guards, a European investigator said Friday.

The CIA called the report "distorted," but stopped short of denying the existence of prisons in the two countries — the agency said it does not discuss the location of its overseas facilities. Poland and Romania also vehemently denied the allegations.

The USA is an arrogant incorrigible agent for terror.

The myth of the world needing the USA is just that....The Chinese and te Japanese hold the USA debt and like a crack addict on crack, the USA can not survive w/o loans from the Asians. The USA is essentially a national slave to China and others who loan the USA money every day to prop up a system of intl business that is failing.

Like a generous thief, or a fool living on credit on holiday - who will have to pay the piper, the USA brags of ggiving aid but they do so with money they do not have???? Incredible and foolish.

It is disgusting and is actually UN-American. We have a criminal in charge of our government but he is NOT America. God willing his party will be totally out of power in 2009 and we can move forward as a decent country and a good world citizen.

Yes, the US is supposed to defend its values, but in face of peoples trained to resist normal procedures, the tacticians in DC were forced to put a little bit more pressure on those guys... You must remember that where those peoples lived they are doing far worst things that this, and they think the US as a soft ennemy that they would have no problems to resist...

The fact is the US did borrow from the Nazi interrogation techniques at the end of the WWII and set up labs in foreign countries to continue some of those Nazi programs... It has been done in my city over 35 years ago, but our government has never raise a finger to help those peoples...
The programs of the CIA of the time, were to "reprograms" a mind using electrochocs, to make them do what they want... A little bit like a remote control device, but for controlling humans.
Anyways, this was only one such program. I am quite sure that you believe that the US could never do such a thing, but the reality is, that they have done it before, and will continue to do it!!

The United States is the greatest nation on the planet.

No nation is perfect. There are always mistakes made during wars and tactics that constantly need adapting.

Your complete disrespect for our great nation, lack of historical perspective and ignorance about the complexities and threats in this world is amazing.

I certainly hope you are not priveleged enough to be a legal United States citizen.

Grow up and educate yourself.

God bless America and our the brave people serving in our military protecting our freedoms.

The Founding Fathers gave us something precious and we must defend that. There have been many in the past that have sacraficed for our nation and there will be many more who do the same in the future if we are to protect our nation, our culture, our heritage and our freedoms.

Guess what the US isn't perfect. But get this the main reason the world hates us is THEY need us we are the world police and we hand out billions of dollars. Personally I would like to see us cut out all the foreign aid for a decade or 2 and let the world be American free. World needs us just like liberals need staight white men. We are around to blame for all the misfortune in your life remember nothing is your fault it is all us.

InReality01 states, "The United States is the greatest nation on the planet." WOW!
I guess that means we can do anything we damn well please: violate the rules of the Geneva Convention; disregard our own laws; ignore our own Constitution; run ripshod over all the other countries on Earth.
Thomas Jefferson once said: "When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will....
become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." How absolutely correct he was! -RKO- 06/08/09
