i highly doubt it, b/c i have two igunas, and they dont even get along... i find that igunas like to have a cage all to themselves.. lol, they are greedy with their food, with their heat rock and even the master. lol

I'm sure you know that iguanas are arboreal and tegus are terrestrial. Although they can get fairly large (or long) if you include their tails, they are rather fragile compared to tegus, which are muscular lizards that are primarily carnivores.

If you want to keep an iguana with a tegu, make sure the iguana is an adult and the tegu is a hatchling. Otherwise, the tegu might attack the iguana. He might even make a meal of the iguana.

It's generally not a good idea to keep different species in the same habitat. They may fight, even if only because they may be territorial animals.

No, it is generally a bad idea to keep difference species of reptile together. Considering the iguana's hind gut stores many forms of bacteria that the tegu has never developed resistence too.
Just keep them seperate.
