The harder something is, the greater the sensation of pleasure out if accomplishing it.
Have you ever played the game where two people stand holding an elastic and you have to jump over that elastic? If you succeed at ankle level the elastic is raised to knee level and so on?
Isn't the successful jump over the higher levels more rewarding?
succeeding at something easy is not big deal. The harder it is, the more satisfying it is.

Math you need to have critical thinking skills. It is abstact for most people, you can't just memorize things like alot of high school classes. You have to use critical thinking to solve problems.
