i used to be like that, but i managed to switch to reading more 'realistic' stories... law crimes, horror... the excitement can be a diffferent story, now my addiction is more towards Stephan King and John Grisham

You must be a woman? All woman like love stories.
Men are more practical we don't expect marriage to be happy forever after.
It is always the Cinderella syndrome. This handsome prince sweeps you off your feet and is rich and takes you to his castle and you live happy ever after.
The truth is if you marry a man for his money you will earn every penny and most marriages fail. So while your reading get a good education so you can support yourself when you find out he can't solve all your problems. He leaves you with two kids to raise alone. While he goes after some other chick.
