what are some good vacation costal states (besides cali and florida)??

Well everyone else will probably think I'm kidding or nuts, but I say my home state of Michigan is also a great "coastal" state as well during the Summer. In fact, with "coasts" on Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Superior, and Lake Erie, we may have more water frontage than just about any other state. Not sure what you're planning to do for your vacation, but feel free to e-mail me if you think I can be of any help as I know most of the lower peninsula ("the Mitten") fairly well.

Depends on where your coming from...Outer banks of North Carolina rocks....
