i'm about 5'10''~ 5'11''
and 14 years old.

i could barely touch the backbaord when i'm
sprinting...

any tips for getting more hops?

Do some leg exercises in the gym or at home if you have the eqipments. Squats, leg presses, leg extensions, leg curls and calf raises will strengthen and add some spring to your legs. You must remember though that vertical leaping ability is more or less genetic. Guys like Julius Erving, David Thompson, Dominique Wilkins, Spud Webb and even Michael Jordan didn't lift weights early in their careers but they could certainly jump outta the roof. I assure you though that these leg exercise can help you.

Aight bro heres wat u do. I am 18 and wanted the same answer. I am 5'10" and can dunk with ease. All you need to do is get by a high wall.....and just jump up as high as u can about 25 times each day. Dont run just stand on 2 feet and jump as high as u can EVERYTIME. Trust me bro this works. Also...make sure u stretch b4 this and after

keep practicing and never give up! im 13 years old and 5 foot 7 and i can get the backboard abrely to!!!hope u can suceed and dunk! when do u want to be able to dunk? nu still have lots of time in your life to dunk. m
my dad taught me this one thing that if u want hang time just go up to your doorway and jump up and touch the frame as many times as u can. that is what helps me a lot!!! touch it like this, right hand, left hand, right hand, left hand and try to stay in the air as long as you can and touch the frame as many times as you can! try to get at least four but it is hard. i can get four and i hope u can too! good luck!!!!!

Dennis Rodman said that he got his hops from putting on leg weights and jumping up at the rim for hours at a time, I would try that

jump rope with ankle weights on.
