Ok this wont take too long. Open up Windows Explorer when your iPod is connected to the laptop. Go to your iPod drive. Under the 'tools' tab at the top of the window click 'folder options'. now go to the 'view' tab. click 'show hidden files and folders'. there should now be a partially faded out folder that says 'music' so go into it. you can check which folders have music in them (its usually only like the first 10) and copy the folders, or just copy them all right away. paste them into a folder somewhere on your computer, preferably into one so that it is just for these folders, but you MUST KEEP THEM. DO NOT DELETE them or you will not keep the songs on iTunes. In iTunes, go to the 'file' tab at the top and click 'add folder to library'. find the main folder with all the other folders inside of it and select it and click 'ok'. if this doesnt work just click each individual folder with the songs in it. YOU'RE ALL DONE!!!

No, Apple made sure that is not possible. When you upload songs to your iPod Apple translates the titles of all the songs into an unreadable name (ie Candy -> FE069ETFD) and categorizes them in random folders that only iTunes and your iPod can understand.
