As far as the American Justice system is concerned, there's a Law for the rich and quite another for the poor.

That fact was widely & openly proven when Paris Hilton was released early yesterday after serving only five days (barely) of her 45-day sentence.

But then earlier today, our favorite socialite was abruptly and rather unexpectedly thrown back in jail to serve the remainder of her sentence, another forty days behind bars.

How dreadful!

How is Paris going to cope in a jail cell?!?

She's much too high profile to be locked up with other common criminals, don't you agree?

What would you think, say or do if you were in her shoes?

Come on now!

Poor Paris...

But then again, she shouldn't be driving while under the influence of alcohol, correct?

What I would really like to know is this...

How much alcohol had she been drinking the night she got apprehended?

Why oh why couldn't she just hire a driver or let someone else drive her car for a little while or for ever if that's what it takes, why not?

This whole sad & sorry mess could easily & effortlessly have been avoided IF ONLY SHE HAD HIRED A DRIVER!!!

Damn, Paris!

Wake up & smell the coffee girl!

I love you but come on now!

Enough is enough!

She broke the law - drinking and driving is very serious. She knowingly was caught multiple times ignoring her punishment and driving w/ a suspended license, she totally blew off the alcohol counselling that was also part of her punishment - maybe some jail time will finally get it through her head that she has to abide by the same rules anyone else does. The sheriff who let her out is a joke, the judge should have thrown the book at him as well.

She deserves it!!! Just because you're famous, does not mean you can get away with the law. Plus, it's JUST Paris Hilton, if you think about it, she's not really THAT famous. All she does is get drunk and then drive wrecklessly. Oh wait! Isn't that how she got into this whole mess to begin with!!! Hope it was worth it Paris.

They should've thrown away the key...I can't believe they let her out early!! Another fine example of a spoiled Hollywood brat that will never be held accountable for her actions! No wonder they never grow up...they're always overindulged...Paris should sit her @ss in jail for the full 90 days, Lindsay should be made to finish out a rehab program...I could go on and on...

That's where she needs to be. If Paris was a normal person with no money she would have to take her punishment. Paris doesn't need a slap on the hand she needs a wake up call.

She violated the law too many times, the to top it off she violated her probation, she got what she deserved. Getting out of jail because of emotion, is no excuse at all, Her jail time should have been doubled.
