To answer the added question, if the water is flowing over the area where the uptake tube enters the filter, it means your filter media is clogged, so the water coming out the center isn't being filtered. That may be why your water doesn't look completely clear.

You need to pull the uptake tube, unplug the filter, and rinse the media out. Use a container of tank water, not tapwater, because the chlorine from the tapwater will kill the beneficial bacteria in the media. You can give the inside of the filter a good cleaning too, if needed. Put the media back (it's reusable), fill with water, and plug back in. That may help your tank clear up.

That'll help. If it is "green cloudy" than you got to cut down the light because you are getting suspended algae. If it is "white cloudy" the tank is probably new (or something bad has happened) and it is going through a new tank cycle. White cloudy is often called a bacteria bloom which tends to appear when you have an ammonia or nitrite problem. In which case the water change will also help, but you should have your water tested for Ammonia and Nitrite and act accordingly depending on what the test reveals.

U can by special tank cleaner that are magnetic and u drop one inside the tank then the other one attracts it and then you move it around the tank and it cleans the sides and if you do that 2 times a day then it keep the water clean but you still should clean the water every 2 weeks.
