This is another aspect of the nature-nurture debate. We differ because of genetics (nature) and also because of environment (nurture).
Only the sex chromosomes carry inherited traits. This means there are many genes that we get that are not inherited, that contribute to genetic differences within the human species.
The type of environment, whether it is clean or not, poor or has access to good food, water, housing, etc., loving or rejecting, has access to education or not, and many other environmental factors will influence how the genes express themselves through our physical bodies.
Thus, even if we have genetic "tendencies", we may or may not express those tendencies dependent on the environment we are in. This creates diversity.

Just the manipulation of the human ego which cant stand being ignored. More than being dead is the feeling of being ignored and being forgotten.
No wonder all those brutal dictators of yesteryears went to such a great extent to have their names etched in history... All those great aristocrats had poems written about them.. They and so do we feel we are great, we are different, we are the chosen one born to reach " success"... we are the chosen one destined to meet the best guy/ girl etc etc.
Without this, we would lose our pride, esteem and a reason to live

Its life and you ought to no longer look at it as a contest. distinctive incredibly everyone seems to be going to have a extra useful difficulty than you do, yet nonetheless you apart from mght have it so lots extra useful than human beings. Take as an occasion the little ones in iraq. on a regular basis they're nerve-racking approximately their life being on the line right this moment. they don't have time to stress approximately money, success, college, clothing, and their physique, and so on... ultimate ingredient to do is relish what you have, and in the journey that your no longer pleased with what you have then paintings annoying for all your desires and sometime you would be extra useful than those you're jealous of.

We differ from each other because everybody has had different life experiences and life experiences is what makes up a person`s attitude towards life. It would be a pretty boring world if everybody was the same.

It is summarized in a poster my cousin has on her bedroom wall. there's a dozen dalmations, the poster says I am Unique. Yes, everyone's unique in their own way; so yeah, ur unique, just like everyone else. But then, if u look closely, there's one dalmatin somewhere in the middle with spots of a different color. Interesting I thought...of the meanings that poster implied to me.

because we do - it is an indispensable part of the human condition to have a sense of individual self - on the other hand this can create tension between us that really shouldn't need to happen. A paradox.

oh yeah! that makes life more interesting. For example, I don't want someone who is as selfish as me, always wanting the best for me; there must be someone who would take the 2nd best, right? like my husband.

Actually, every one of us, is unique, all of us differ from one another, as a matter of fact! (on a spiritual plane, though, we are all alike, we are, indeed, one!)
