It's possible, but only if the fish are very closely related. This happens a lot with cichlids, and that how hybrids like the blood parrot and flowerhorn are created.

But you couldn't cross very unrelated fish like a betta and a goldfish.

Livebearers have live babies, all the other types of fish lay eggs. A livebearer (mollies, platies, swordtails, guppies, endlers) will not lay eggs.

If you're asking if you can crossbreed different species of fish, it depends on the fish. Parrot fish are hybrid cichlids. You can also cross platies and swordtails, or mollies and guppies. Certain species of african cichlids can crossbreed too, it depends on the combination of fish you have.

Not sure of your question, but if you are asking if 2 different kinds of fish can breed the answer is no. Different types of mollies will breed with each other. For example, dalmation mollies will breed with black mollies, but mollies will not breed with tetra's.

Hope this helps
