I just bought my first pattern, a McCalls pattern, thinking that it would be simple enough but its greek! Are there any good websites that teach a person how to sew from a pattern?

I didn't learn that way, so I don't know of any websites about that. McCall's may even have one. I know Simplicity has some patterns that are marked "learn to sew" which tell you everything. No Greek.

If you have specific questions on the pattern you've bought, feel free to email me. I speak "pattern" pretty well -- and English, too, so I can translate for you. If you click on the name under my avatar, you'll get a link to email me. Please do, if you like. I sew.
