Congress is made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

A senator is a member of the Senate.

If you mean "Congressmen" as opposed to "Congress", it could mean someone from either part of Congress. However, it is commonly used to mean someone specifically from the House of Representatives.

Did you take civics in school or are you just ignorant. Senators (two from each state, an area) are elected to six year terms. There are 100 of them. Because of their limited number and the length of their term they are much more powerful than Congressmen.
All congressmen represents a district of a given population across the United States, state by state. Lesser populated states have only one congressman. California on the other had has over 50. Congressional seats stand for reelection every two years. There are 435 of them.
You need to read the United States Constitution. It is available on the internet.

In the house of the US Senate, each US state is represented equally. Alaska, the least populous state has 2 senators. California, the most populous state has 2 senators. In the House of Representatives. Each representative represents a district with an equal number of people in each district. The two houses make up Congress. When you just hear, "congressmen," that is in reference to a member of the House of Representatives. When you just hear the word, "house," that is in reference to the House of Representatives. When you see, "Rep," written before a person's name, that person is a member of The House of Representatives.
