I'm thinking of buying their Clarifying makeup (either powder or liquid) since I have acne prone skin. Has anyone tried it before?
Btw, I can't get Neutrogena or Bare minerals in Canada so please dont suggest those.

Yes, but not for everyone. You don't have to stick using only one line, there could be many different combinations of products that work for you and your skin. I have some of this and some of that. It is just a matter of trying everything until you find what works best for you. The samples they hand out are the best way to find out!

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love clinique makeup. It is the best makeup I have ever tried. I love the clarifying make-up. I sugest getting the liquid since the powder makes you look powdery. It looks natural but covers blemishes. There is a brush (foundation brush) that is 28 dollars but it lasts for 9 years. It is AMAZING. Ask the people behind the counter about it. I have never had such flawless skin as when I used that makeup with the brush. The key is that brush though. It looks almost like your skin is air brushed.

Clinique is definitely one of the better companies out there. I have allergies to many of the chemicals they put into our health and beauty products and Clinique products came up more often in more categories as being good to use for those with sensitive skin. As for the acne, I have a friend who uses their products for that purpose and just luvs them. We never miss a bonus offer.

If you cannot find a product in Canada try buying it on line. I buy Gly Derm products (only available through doctors offices in Canada) online from the States. I just luv there cleanser and clarifying lotion. They do a line specifically for acne. They do not do make up though.

I have used Clinique and I think they make a good product. You need to make sure it specifies that it is "non-comedogenic" which means it will not clog your pores. Regardless of the makeup you use, you will continue to have acne unless you treat it. Figure out how to prevent the acne (usually medication) and then you can pretty much wear whatever makeup you want. But don't be disillusioned by the idea that a more expensive product will "help" your skin - it won't.

Yes- Clinique is great- High quality and not expensive. I don't recommend drugstore brands- they don't cost as much because they aren't the same quality. A department store brand has the added advantage of a trained beauty advisor. Find an advisor that understands your wants and needs and stick with them! Be aware that skincare is even more important than makeup. Makeup won't hide neglected skin no matter how good it is.

I am a Makeup Artist of 30 years. Clinique is one of the cleanest makeup out here! Yes I highly recommend Unique makeup. It cost more but worth every Pennie! Its not the product it self, but its a very clean product, its very good if you have allergy's. No perfumes its natural. If you use this product stick to it. Making to many changes can ruin you skin.

I've used Clinique makeup (including foundation) for several years and I like it. It doesn't cause acne and I have the assistance of the person at the counter when I choose makeup shades.

YES, just make sure the specialist behind the counter gives you a full makeover session of your skin and you test it first - i spent no lie- $150 on products that are not appropriate for my skin type- because the girl was a complete idiot and had no clue of her job and yes i threw the recipt out- and now currently am going thru a rash on my face THAT I GOT OINTMENT FROM MY DERMATOGOGIST - as long as you get the right skin care # for your skin you should be FINE

I am in the United states, and I am certain that Mary Kay is in Canada. I have used products from both companies, and I have found Mary Kay to be just as good or better than Clinique, and it is much less expensive. Also, my Mary Kay lady delivers to me.

I've heard great things about it! but, as with any product you hear both sides, but, I can offer Mary Kay! I can deliver to anywhere in the world, even Canada!

Check it out for yourself. I have some great products for the acne prone skin, I myself have acne prone skin and have seen wondrous results in my skin!
