Do gay men get offended when one uses the verb "to suck"?

Every time I put those words together in front of a gay man, I get a nasty look. I am not a native speaker, but it is a word I commonly use to refer to something distasteful. i.e.
That game sucked!
She can't play the marimba, oh God she sucks!

I said that class sucked to my gay friend and he gave me a 'if look could kill' kind of look.

You're maybe being a wee bit too sensitive to the feelings of others. People can easily detect the context of the words you use (and when you are taking the mickey - how do you know they're gay).

Simply put, if these particular words make you feel uncomfortable, don't use them.

I'm gay and I say "That sucked!" All the time. I think it purely depends on the person. I actually am sometiems offended when someone says the word **** around me... but I use it sometimes so I am not that offended.

I don't get offended,but some gay guys who are on the sensitive side may get offended easily. Try to use other terms instead of "sucks"

I suck and do it with great satisfaction.I must only do it with a light on to see how gorgeous the thing I engorge is.Maybe you are a heterosexual man who duz not belong in our world and that is why you get nasty looks.When they say the game sucked they mean the men in this sport sucked eachother before the game and were only thinking about carrying on sucking.One track minded men do that.

Well he shouldn't, we are well aware that straight people also suck, so its hardly anti-gay.
