Dude, the veins are the SOURCE of the erection. Don't mess with them. Seeing veins popping out of your John Thomas is totally normal. I would worry if you DON'T see veins when you get one.
As for seeing them when the penis is flaccid (not erect), you should still see them in most instances. If you have increased blood flow to them constantly or an erection you can't get rid of (like more than 5 or 6 hours), you may have priapism, and it may be time to go to the doctor.
If they are simply visible, it is probably nothing.
To be safe, call a doctor's office, explain your age and your situation and ask if they think you need to come in for medical evaluation. That is, if you cannot comfortably discuss this with, say, a father or older brother.

Ok, this is extreamly normal for boys and males. It doesn't matter, it won't affect erection, urination, or anything else. It is just that veins won't bleed as much if cut as arteries would. It is just a safety feature your body has. Don't worry, as you grow, your penis will grow and the veins will eventually be hard to see as the penis grows in length and size. Don't worry, it is normal. I am going through it. All males will have it. There is nothing to worry about.

There's nothing wrong with veins kind of popping out of the penis. That's normal for a lot of guys. As long as it's not causing you problems or discomfort, you shouldn't worry. If you're still unsettled by it, you should see a doctor and have him/her take a look at it.

Very normal. That is how the blood flows through the penis. As you get older you will understand why this in important.
Big veins is good and very normal.

i am a little worried about the ladies answering this question ...
anyways, nothing to worry about, the whole concept of erection is blood passing through veins (causing the erection) so i would worry if there were no veins pupping out!!

Yes very normal they SHOULD be visible - those are the veins bloods runs through when an erection occurs - You need them to get erect...

dude it's fine or your pants maybe too tight cause logically the veins would popout w/o circulation and be really purple just likewhen ppl tie those like rubber bands around their muscle area to get a shot it's bcuz the RB makes the veins popout and easier to get a needle in.Don't be super emo and cut your dick veins.
