Okay I've been playing guitar for a little while and doing all right except... i can't get sweep picking down! I really need help with this. So any helpful websites or tips would be much appreciated. I really want to learn to do this (what I think is difficult) technique. THANKS!!!

ah, the art of soloing, and more specifically, the nuances of playing arpeggios...

the trick is, possibly to palm mute, as mentioned above, with the picking hand, and also, to only fret one note at a time to make it more staccato-like

practice, practice, practice

Oh yeah, I HATED sweep picking! It's like palm muting, you just have to practice and let it come natural.
