The best thing to do is to leave it completely off the less power in it the better do not charge at all if you got it less then a year ago call 1-800-MYAPPLE or go to an Apple Store if it won't turn on after completely drying for about a week Apple will give you a new one for accidental damage if it is under a year old I know because this has happened to me to Apple care about its customers very much

Don't put it through the washer and dryer next time. This time it's too late for it. Sorry!

my i pod nano have been given moist and it became ruined. you may deliver it to Apple if it fairly is decrease than a 12 months old and that they're going to deliver you a clean one, the only ingredient is you may dry it out first via fact their warrenty does not conceal water harm yet they under no circumstances knew when I sent them mine. call apple, its properly worth a attempt regardless of if it fairly is previous a 12 months.

Set it out for a while and see if it dries. If not, take it in and get it checked out. You might have to buy a new one.
