I say partial restoration because I am doing alot of custom work to it. For instance custom engine work, transmission work, front and read end work, exaust, custom dash including digital gauges, and to much more to list. Restoration refers to restoring it to origional.

Ah, now this is my kind of post. I would use any bright color. Even the flat black, such as on Smokey and the Bandit would look nice. These cars are beautiful! Have fun and best luck with your restoration! Take care of that nice car!!!!!

I have never seen a clear black shot over silver or gold before? Areo Lack and house of color as well as many make candy clear colors to put over a base coat of the replective color you want to show thru in the sun. Never heard of black. I don't ever start a restroration with paint. The mechanical is done first front fenders off drive train out and glass out roterserie style if possable to turn the car to get rid of any rot and rust.. After two years getting everything back into where it go's and panels to fit perfect then sand filler and sand primer sand more primer block sand base color sand more base "color sand" the candy color two to three applications then burry it in clear. color sanding and then polishing it to a high luster if any body work was not done properly you will see it.
