Ok... so my friend is being convicted of child molesting. He was 17 when all this happened, he is 25 now. The girl would have been 7 at the time and he is being accused of putting his hand up her shirt and watching porn with her. He is going up for child molesting though. How much time do you think he will get for it???

WoW!

Between your cat being sick, and your husband in the rear's for child support, and now you have a friend that is being convicted of Child Molesting?

You're obviously having a very bad day!

So I hope your Cat is better, and didn't harm your three children, I hope your husband is able to catch up with his $10K in Child Support, and I hope your molesting "friend" stays away from your children, and gets locked up for a very long time followed by chemical castration.

Is it his first offense? And what class felony was he charged with? There is rarely a crime called "Child molesting" on the books. The class of felony depends on what he is charged with. First offense he is looking at 5 to 10 likely out in 2.5.

Get your friend some serious mental help

In Florida he would get 25 to life. He will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. There are many jobs he will not be able to get. There are many places he cannot live, close to schools and churches, etc. They say pedophilia is impossible to cure.

Yeah, 15 - 20 sounds about right to me. Years, that is, not months.

I don't want to be too rude, but I hope he gets to spend a lot of time in prison for it. In my opinion, doing that to a kid is unforgivable.
