For those who believe the violin is only for accompaniemnet, you should watch this tape. It takes a while to get to the duet, but this is who I mean by tall, black haired, and handsome. and he ROCKS at playing. And he said he only plays a little ^_^!

1. Piano - its an instrument that can be used more easily for both classical and rock music (I learned to play 'cello and now wish I could play a cooler instrument like guitar or piano). That said if you know the right people orchestral rock is awesome no matter what you play! 2. Violin. 3. Violin 3. Violin

The piano is far more versatile than the violin. The most beautiful songs in the world are written on piano. you can't really write a song to violin... violins are mostly meant to accompany other instruments or for solos, but are never the heart of a song.

1. i would rather learn to play the piano, cuz it's easier.
2. the violin is better because it requires more discipline--my dad tried to learn. lol.

3. visually, i'd rather have the guy play the piano. that's a very romantic setting. but if im actually listening to the music, then i prefer the violin. the music it makes has a more powerful effect on me.
